Introducing our new Village art space in Grand Rapids!

Fire in the Village has a new community art space at the Old Central School in downtown Grand Rapids.

We were selected by MacRostie Art Center as artists in residence. Our space will feature tools for making community artwork and exploring print and textiles.

We will be open on first Fridays with free print pop-ups & other activities!

This winter, we will also be hosting monthly workshops and gatherings for artists in our wider village to connect with local organizers, and to learn how to use some of the tools we have on hand to make posters and patches, to mend and upcycle clothing, and to create artist books and zines.
